My hamster Odie was not only one of the strongest hamsters, but also one of the most intelligent.
Odie knew how to jimmy the
lock open of the Habitrail. He could knock off the lid unless there were three books the thickness of Bibles on top of the lid.
One of the times he escaped, he spent a day or two in the arm of a reclining chair. My mother was afraid we would have to cut the arm open. He eventually got out, but immediately he went into one of the kitchen cabinets, and got stuck in a hole of the cabinet floor. He eventually squeezed out. Odie was a regular Houdini.
