The picture on this page shows an adorable Syrian hamster up for adoption. At the moment he is housed in an SPCA shelter and is waiting to be adopted.
Unfortunately this cute hamster lost an eye due to fighting and thus needs 'special care', but considering that hamsters all have very poor eyesight, it should not be a problem if you house him in a one level cage.
